I have prepared SBF according to Kokubo recipe. My sampled are 1*1 cm2 Ti-alloy sheets with the thickness of approximately 1 mm and a thin layer of coating (Ra of the samples without coating 15 micron). In order to know how SBF I need for each sample I have used Vs=Sa/10 but for making sure that what I have done was correcr, Can anyone tell me what would be the amount of SBF for immersion each sample?
Sa = 2 (Length * width) + 2 (Length * thickness ) + 2 (width * thickness ) = 200 mm² + 20 + 20 = 240 mm²
Va = 240/10 = 24 cm³
If you use the standard it is written (at least in mine) that the volume (Va) is given in cubic millimetres (but it is really to little, so I talked with a friend and she corrected that is cm³)

Ayda Khosravanihaghighi the samples can be 2+- 1mm of thickness, is this the question?
Eduardo Henrique Backes Actually my samples are quiet rough (Ra=15 micron, before coating ) and even after applying the coating which has the thickness of 300-400 nm.
Theoretically, I also got 24 cm3 , but the Orthopedic surgeon who I am working with suggested to immerse each sample in 200 ml which is 8 time more.
And the hypothesis behind this was that the surface is porous and much more SBF required.

Hi Eduardo Henrique Backes ,
I have read the ISO file that you attached above. In the pdf file, Vs is in mm3 and Sa is in mm2. You said earlier the Vs is corrected to be in cm³ . How about Sa, is it still in mm2 or in cm2 ?
