The sum of the natural numbers, first attempted by EULER,  resulted as  -1/12 . This astonishing result  was  justified  by Riemann who used  the analytical continuation of his Zeta function. Ramanujan calculated such result as well at the beginning of 1900. Casimir in 1946 used it  to succesfully calculate the force between infinite metal plates close to eachother. The finite result of these infinite series resembles a transformation, similar to what occurs when with we pass from a domain to another....
