One can move data and emerge all day long and no feeling will come of these alone.

Feeling is a fundamental behavior of the universe (cognition is not). Here this point is stated as an axiom, but is concluded to extensively in my articles (all provided on RG).

Some believe this feeling is only "proto-feeling" and not yet real feeling, but this is less parsimonious and presumes feeling is at least somewhat emergent, without any rational basis. What does have to emerge is feeling *by a subject*. This is because the subject has to emerge. The fundamental ingredient of self is feeling. In any case, the "proto-feeling" detour makes for limited trouble.

Since it is a natural act we expect our description of Nature- physics- when complete, will include feeling (aka phenomenal experience, which is the bedrock of "what it is like").

All fundamental behaviors are the behaviors of fields. All of Nature is the sum of its fields. Any behavior not explained is an omission of detail about fields or the omission of a field.

Hence, feeling is behavior of a field, a field that is known or unknown. There is a feeling field. This is the "sentonic" field.

A field is representable by (at least one) boson. The boson of feeling is the "senton." It is conceivable that this a boson already known, but also there is no proof of that.

Items that interact via sentonic (or any other fundamental) behaviors carry a measure of the corresponding "charge," in this case, sentonic charge.
