I have a question about the proper coercivity and blocking temperature for SPIONs for biomedical application. I found some papers in which the saturation magnetization values of SPIONs is relatively high close to bulk material value ( Ms=92 emu/g) however the coercivity and blocking temperature are high as well. Nased on I have studied so far the coercivity should go to zero for SPIONs to be sutibale for biomedical purposes however I have no idea about the blocking temperature. I will appreciate if anyone could provide me with the answers.

You are right coercivity should be zero or very very close to it for nanoparticles to clasify as superparamagnetic. The blocking temperature should be below ambient otherwise it means they are blocked already at ambient T.

Bulk magnetite is ferromagnetic at room temperature, so there is no question of having of blocking temperature. As you decrease the size of the iron oxide particles to tens of nm, they turn superparamagnetic at room temperature (hence called SPIONs) and a blocking temperature exists. For SPIONs, the blocking temperature is strongly size dependent and increase with particles size. Check these for more details.
