Previously I posted the same question on researchgate. Now I am giving in detail information. I Installed WRF-NMM V3.6 in my system with 4 processors, intel i7 processor, 8 gb ram with mpich2 using gcc/gfortran. I tested WRF for 1 day with 5.6 km resolution and 50 nodes, wrf.exe (mpirun -np 4 ./wrf.exe), it completes the calculation in 4 minutes.
Now the actual problem is, I installed Openfoam for running CFD calculations using openmpi in the same machine. After installation of CFD, I tried to run the WRF again, but this time the calculation completes for 1 day by 10 min.
There is 6 min time lag in wrf performance without running CFD calculation. How can I put the WRF performance is same as before even if CFD exists.
I am waiting to here for more suggestions to resolve this issue.

I used Ubuntu 14.04.1 as operating system for both WRF and CFD.
