Hi,
Is there any equation for calculating e_we, e_sn, i_parent_start, j_parent_start to write a automatic program by using resolution, corner boundary values and central latitude and longitude for parent and nests for any projection for any location in the globe for WRF_ARW without using Domainwizard.
I tried to understand the WPS code, but i unable to get the clear picture.
Please share your views.

I always used Domain Wizard but you can try follow this section "Creating Nested Domains with the WPS" in the document bellow

There is no such a code.
Some clues as a rule of thumb. Try not to exceed 200 grids each direction. have at least 20 grids distance to place the nests.
Some papers provide the namelist.wps, you can use them and get the idea.
