I teach ethics at university, in the process I have come to realize this that it is not possible to reform the morals of any nation, group or class unless its moral point of view is understood. No matter how good a person's verbal statement is, whatever is in his mind is more important. His belief creates feelings and emotions for anything. Those emotions and feelings manifest in the form of attitudes. So I want to do a survey that will help us understand the moral point of view of our new generation. Is it morally correct to back out of a research co-authorship or a prestigious presentation just a a day or week before presentation by stating that this research cannot be proceeded with further because it is useless, does not make substantial contribution to the field and the null hypothesis was supported?
Large-scale research into the disciplines of modern technology is quickly outdated. This has become a major challenge for academic ethics. I think research is more a method than providing content on a particular topic. From this point of view, we can deal with the moral crisis in the academic world. If we make it a standard, about ninety-nine percent of PhD holders will have to retire. I think most ethical theories consider it immoral.
