The generated force-displacement curve in abaqus, graph turn out to be incorrect. what could be the error?
I'm trying to do analysis on multi-cell composite column(CFST). After the job is completed , I generated Force-displacement curve which was incorrect. What could be reason? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

It would depend upon geometry, material properties and material model, load (strain rate if any) and boundary conditions used in the simulation.
Assuming all other parameters are taken care, for quasi-static loading, check for the modulus of elasticity and stress-strain curve(if defined).

The error(s) depends on many factors. If geometry and material model is correct, then usually problem exists in Meshing. Would you please check the meshing and density of it? If possible check the mesh quality. If you are confident enough that meshing is correct, then make sure that your element selection is correct.
