I tried to dissolve Tecothane in DMF to drop cast it as a thin film, however, I ended up with a suspension, not a true solution (as in the SEM) image attached. I think the original polymer was formed by the emulsion polymerisation. I need some help in selecting the approiate solvent andthe technical experience if it will dissolve or not!

Have you ever tried THF? This paper DOI: 10.1039/C2LC21075D indicates about the PU solution in THF.
About the SEM, it seems you need the SEM pic from the surface, but based on my experience, you cannot see any definite morphology of PUs, even from the cross-section. Please let me know if you need more details.
It has been a very long time since I worked with Tecothane like polymers but you may want to try DMAc.
