I am making polymer composite by solvent mixing method.
When I am trying to add filler solution in polymer solution it quickly get solidified. How to make them then uinform? It doesn't give time to ultrasonication also.

I think you are preparing the solution of filler in a non-solvent of the polymer. That’s why the polymer solution quickly gets phase separated (solidified). You can use a mixture of solvent and non-solvent of the polymer as solvent for the filler. You can also control the time of solidification and get more time for proper distribution and dispersion of the filler by changing ratio of solvent to non-solvent. Then you can easily evaporate the solvent after preparation.
Dear Arnab Kumar Dey , Yes absolutely. Your answer helps me a lot. Is it necessary then to make same solution (Solvent + Non solvent) for polymer as well? And which solvent should be in large proportion solvent or non solvent to reduce such solidification result.
