I have a question regarding synergistic effect calculation.
We did one experiment on degradation of phenol in leachate by means of natural attenuation.
The factors that are effect the phenol removal are light, oxygen, and microorganism.
We designed 8 sequence of experiments with and without each factor.
Do you know how to calculate the synergistic effect of each based on removal of phenol in each experiment.
Thank you all.
Calculate it as ratio of a)final effectiveness or b)rate constant for combined process to sum of this values to particular processes. Check my research papers on cavitation based AOPs.

Maybe you can use the elasticity between the change rate of one factor to that of another factor to measues the synergistic effect
