Hello,
I am looking for a method to surface sterilize strong root for endophyte bacterial isolation from them. I tried Bleach with 5% Chlorine for 5 min then rinsed in sterile water 3 times @ approx. 3min each. However, when I checked for sterilization, I could see some transluscent growth in them. I would really appreciate if anyone can suggest me a definite way for surface sterilizing the hard roots of vegetables and also how to check them?
