Dear fellow connections, i am using elastomeric bearing plasticity element to model 2D bilinear isolators. But here, I also want to assign damping ratio of each isolator, does anyone know how can i do it ?

I assume one way can be to assign modal damping with first mode damping to be isolator’s damping ratio and rest as superstructure damping.

Or can i just assign the equivalent damping ratio of the isolators in the Rayleigh command ? But i doubt that this approach will assign higher damping in other modes. So if anyone has any prior experience in this i would be really grateful to receive a suggestion.

Furthermore, i have 3 isolators under the superstructure, so do i assign equalDOF or rigid beam link to these isolators to constrain them ? Or is it not necessary to constrain these isolators when we are using elastomeric bearing plasticity element?
