The diffusion of atoms during sintering has different mechanisms (surface, lattice, evaporation and condensation, grain boundary etc..). I would like to know, if there is some inherent oxide layer during the production of powder will that affect the surface diffusion of atoms? The phenomenological theories did not consider the oxide layer effet? I would like to have a small discussion about this.
