“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” — Genesis 18:19 (KJV)
This is God’s clear expectation for every man: to be the spiritual head, the protector, the guide, and the priest of his home.
But today, society is in chaos because men have failed.
Fathers have abandoned their posts. Instead of leading their homes in prayer, in righteousness, and in integrity, too many men have handed over their God-given responsibilities to women, then stood back while families and nations crumble.
Look around you:
We see broken homes, fatherless children, a generation addicted to violence, fraud, corruption, and confusion. Gender identity is in crisis because the voice of fathers—the voice of identity, truth, and destiny—has gone silent.
The streets are full of boys in men’s bodies.
We have sperm donors, but no fathers.
We have religious men who sit in churches, but no men of God who stand in the gap for their families.
We have politicians looting nations because they were never taught honour or integrity by fathers.
We have homes where children have no model of manhood because the man of the house is either physically absent or spiritually dead.
The decay in our families is not accidental—it is the direct consequence of men refusing to be men.
Enough is enough.
Men:
It is time to rise.
It is time to fast for your children.
It is time to pray over your homes.
It is time to walk in holiness, in justice, and in truth.
It is time to command your household, as Abraham did, so that the blessings of God can fall upon your family and not destruction.
Stop making excuses. Stop hiding. Stop blaming.
The healing of our families, our communities, and our nations begins with you.
Be the father God called you to be—or watch the world continue to burn because you chose silence over responsibility.
