Hi,

after a thorough EFA and CFA, I've created my structural model (with imputed factor scores) in AMOS and ran it. While it provided me with all path coefficients, I found that the CFI had dropped significantly from 0,917 to 0,513. Checked the modification indices, see attached picture. I then tried to account for the correlations by drawing control paths from PC, PO, IN, RC -> PE; PO, RC -> PC, PC, RC -> PO, and RC -> IN. Ran the model again but it returned "The model is probably unidentified. In order to achieve identifiability, it will probably be necessary to impose 1 additional constraint."

Do I need to impose constraints when I just want to control for correlation or is there any other way to fix it? Sorry in case the solution is obvious, I'm a newcomer to SEM :)

Thanks in advance!
