Hello, I'm trying to design a spinning drop apparatus. I have a question about the sample volume
1. what is the ideal/common sample volume (the surrounding liquid) and the drop volume?
2. How to calibrate the camera to measure the drop radius? there is sometimes thick lines because of diffraction of the glass between the drop and the surrounding volume. Should i take the inner or the outer part of the drop to determine its radius? you can see the picture for the example drop picture that i take
