Hi everyone,

I'll start expressing a human protein in the yeast Pichia pastoris. In our research center all the flasks, graduated tubes and similar materials are cleaned and sterilized by autoclave. In my lab all of us work with E. coli but I'll be the only one working with the yeast. I'd like to know if, even though our microbiology materials are sterilized, should I separate some of this materials so ONLY yeast can be grown there or there is no problem in sharing flasks? In our research center there are separated safety cabinets and incubator shakers for yeast and bacteria in different rooms, that's why I was wondering this.

Thank all of you in advance!
