Hi all,

I am simulating the spin wave modes in a square of permalloy of 900 nm side. I am trying to plot the k-vector picture of it, using the fft2 function in matlab, which returns the 2D spatial fourier transform. In my samples, I can clearly see the spin waves modes travelling in the multidomain states, but after this fft2, the plot looks like just noise... the input is just the image of the modes at a certain frequency. Does anyone know how to get a clear dispersion diagram of these modes? Many thanks in advance.
