How does each precipitate affect the hardening of these alloys?
β´´ (Mg5Si6) is s the strengthening phase,The latter is precipitated during over-aging。 Hope it will be helpful.
Dear Chen, Thank por your answer.
beta prime can also precipitate during quenching. It is non strengthening so the more beta prime precipitate, tje lower the strengthening potentisl of the alloy, i.e., aging response, during agong.
