Dear Seniors,

Recently I am leading a work on nanozymes and tested the steady state kinetic curves corresponding to the color development reactions for TMB substrate and H2O2 substrate.

We found that the nanozymes with the best mimetic enzyme (peroxidase,POD) activity exhibited higher Km values for H2O2 substrate and higher Vm values. However, the other nanozymes exhibited low Km values, suggesting that there is a conflict in the substrate affinity and catalytic kinetics.

How should I explain this one? Am I wrong in my calculations, or wrong in my testing?
