Anyone using Solvita for either nitrogen or carbon measurement? I have started using it and then they changed the protocol and it seems the new protocol doesn't work as well as the old one for my clayey soils.
I need to assess the soil fungal community. Any ideas? Rose Bengal plates is a possibility as is glomalin production. Anything else? I haven't done any work on fungi yet.

I would like to use it, but is totally unfamiliar with it. I have been using Biolog Ecoplates, but the inventor of the plates suggested I tried Microresp.

I have claye soils that I want to use Biolog Ecoplates on. Can I use CaCl2 (1ml of 1M in 100 ml of 10% soil solution) to settle the soil? Or maybe centrifuge (5000 rpm for 1 min)? I do not want...
