If a plant does not grow, it should not not be blamed. One may not watering it properly and regularly or even keeping away from Sunshine. Similarly, if research is not published in top ranking Journals, one should not blame oneself rather one needs to introspect whether the manuscript is stuffed with relevant review, method, authentic data and robust findings along with implications or not. Indeed, one must read and understand the published papers in the Journals one aspiring for. If one follows this, then see how the flowers grow in the research garden and spread the fragrance of knowledge around the Globe.

I do not think that there is a researcher who is not sincere in conducting research. Research, as I said earlier, is like a tree. If it is not planted sincerely, it dies.

I agree with YOU 120%. One must commit himself or herself totally to the work and at at the end of the tunnel there will be LIGHT. Research is like activity in any sport, you have to push yourself forward otherwise you would be defeated. These days during coronavirus this attitude is especially important:

Yes, i believe research is driven from the heart. I never measure researchers by their publication record. Today i feel there are just too many 'publishers' but not many 'researchers'.
Hence, one should never blame oneself if their research was not published. Some of the best dissertations and theses that i have read did not have articles published out of it. People spend years of their lives doing great and 'sincere' research, yet never have the opportunity to publish or because the journal rejects it for whatever reason.
My advice to people is that if your research was not published, yet you know it was a good and heartfelt piece of work, then it is the journal's loss, not yours.
As you know: Research is work that involves studying something and trying to discover facts about it. So if is a person who is not sincere in conducting it, we cant say he has done research.
