Hi,

depends on what conditions you have at the inlet. If you have a pressure forced flow, p and inlet and outlet are fixed, the velocity at the inlet should be zeroGradient. Please note that you should correct the inlet pressure due to fluxes. Otherwise you will only accelerate till infity.

If you have somehow a classic setup like fixed velocity at the inlet and fixed pressure at the outlet you should set inlet pressure to zeroGradient and U at outlet to zeroGradient. FUrther more it would be good to know which software you use? I am talking about openfoam. Do not know which boundary fluent or other software tools offers.
