The silver metallic have suitable antibacterial for post implant and also the passed the bioactivity and biocompatibility after in vivo test, but as I learned sometimes, AgO2 release some toxic materials in the blood which is not probably fine for the body.
Silver is used for intrabone (teeth) implants since its bactericidic properties and well biocompatibility. Yes, it could be some toxic but no so heavily. It can not support cell growth but if you don't need in this option, use silver implants.
