1)First you take UV of amoxicillin solution then take after degradation.If the peak changes with same absorbance values(difference).Then you take both the into consideration.
2) Another option is UV-Visible(Photometric)you can choose more than two wavelength and take spectra after degradation.
1. First, integrate the two peaks and find the area under each peak. Then, degradation can be calculated using the area as
D=(A0-At)/A0, where A0 is the area before degradation and At is the area after degradation.
2. If the intensity of both peaks decreases relatively at the same rate after degradation, it implies that the ratio of their absorbance values remains constant. In this case, we can estimate the degradation using the Absorbance value of a single peak.
