This inter disciplinary approach is a very good way to solve many problems of modern complex systems. The invisible but definite walls between disciplines must dissolve!

I agree with above statements. Yes combine model/ approach have already developed according to the demand of the world we are living today. Studuies have been documented the benificial effects of the combine approach...

Dear Professor,

I started reading on psychology three years ago. The initial objective just merely try to explain why human being response to change of environment .Especially after organisation change due to business downturn or change of technology . I found that , with psychology alone it is not sufficient to explain this complex behavior , I have to put my attention on social psychology theory and social economic theory , to explore why and how people response differently in difference situations . Finally , I have to make use o mixed method to do my research .

I think that psychology was looking too long to the social behavior of people.

The research of neuroscience can hopefully explain more the mind from the inside.

I also don't see an increase in complexity, the mass media makes it all the way more simple.

I do agreed with you , there is hardly any article on this issue , I did a proposal paper before back to year 2002 . Those day , I am intend to do learning theory ,and what are the impacts with the change of technology . But , I drop it after I found new interest topic on theory of film .

There is an interesting stream of research that has been developing in recent years. It is called the "sociology of science", also referred to in certain works as the "sociology of technology". The proponents of this school are: Bruno Latour, Michel Callon, John Law, Wanda Orlikowski. Some of the seminal works on this topic are:

Already in psychosomatic and anthropological medicine of the 1930s through 50s case histories combined psychological and sociological explanations of a given disease or an epidemic. Therefore psychology not only should but does combine its efforts with sociology to explain (pathological) behavior. See Pedro Laín Entralgo. "La historia clínica. I should add to my answer that insofar as psychology is psychiatry (and this involves merely the practical aspect of the discipline), sociology has long played a role. However, in the more theoretical aspects of psychology-- for instance, the latest theory of perception and experiments pertaining thereto-- , sociology is often irrelevant and could even muddy the waters.
