Hi Elena, I do not recomend labeling the sample tubes before reaction. Because some device like CFX96 determine the level of light from up. Your labels may be barrier for detection.

The best way is not labelling the tube but you write the name of the sample inside the program of the qPCR.

Multiwell plates are labelled 1 to12 on one side and A to H on other side if you notice. You can make a photocopy of old plate format on your notebook and write there. There is no need to write with ink.
