I have constructed a path model, reported beta weights for direct paths, but I couldn't figure out what/how to report indirect and total effects. should I report the t-values and interpret them in terms of the +/- 1.96 rule or are there specific beta coefficients for indirect/total weights? By the the way, I am using Lisrel 9.3. Thank you

the convention is to report and test (via bootstrapping) the indirect and - if necessary - the total effects. Mediation hypotheses are indirect effects, hence, that's what you have to show.

I understand that mediation hypotheses are indirect effects. I mean what statistics should be interpreted for significance? In Lisrel, standardized beta coefficients are provided for direct effects but i don't see a beta coefficient for indirect and total effect. In such a case, what statistics should be interpreted?
