Is we know that in self-healing concrete cracks may be closed gradually due to the activities of some types of bacteria induced in the concrete mix,do you think it is possible to produce a self-healing gypsum that may treat cracking in plastering layer???

What I think is Dithiothreitol. As it is water-soluble and does not form a precipitate. But, the thing is it contains sulphur which is quite hazardous to aquatic animals.
