Hello ResearchGate community,

I’m a newly appointed lecturer seeking guidance on shifting my research focus. During my PhD, I worked on Intent-Driven Network, but I now aim to explore new directions in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Resilience, specifically:

  • Resilient network architecture design for dynamic SDN environments.
  • Mathematical modeling of network resilience (e.g., metrics, attack/failure recovery mechanisms).
  • Quantitative resilience assessment frameworks (preferably with reproducible code/data for validation).
  • My Request:

    • Suggestions for emerging research gaps in SDN/resilience, especially areas where theoretical models intersect with practical implementations.
    • Recommendations for foundational or cutting-edge papers (IEEE/ACM journals preferred) with open-source code or datasets to streamline reproducibility.
    • Collaboration Opportunities: If your work aligns with these topics, I’d welcome discussions on potential synergies!

Background: Having shifted from my PhD team, I’m now building a research group from scratch. Your insights will help me avoid pitfalls and accelerate progress.

Thank you for your time and expertise!
