I am searching for a specific kind of material assessing empathetic processes. I would like to measure empathetic decision taking, where the participant might choose between the interests of a collectivity (to the detriment of an individual); or the interests of an individual (to the detriment of a collectivity).
Therefore, it is a kind of material mixing the public goods and the trolley dilemma: an ecological situation assessing empathetic behaviours without involving money.
If this material does not exist, does any collaborator would be interested to develop this kind of material with me?

Maybe this link will help you. Also maybe studies preformed on eq or a personality assessment might help with interpretation, i am thinking the big 5: scale agreeableness and extraversion. Also perhaps emotion recocgnotion studies like eysensack epq might be usefull. Also i recall something of lauging tends to make other people laugh because of mirror neurons. This is behaviour that can be observed, in other words not lauging when other people laugh could implicate a empathy disorder since mirrorneurons play a rol in empathy.

Thank you very much. The elements you brought in your answer confort my initial thoughts. I already have various Empathy scales (IRI, BES, etc) but I would like to investigate empathetic behaviours through a validate ecological task. Unfortunately, I haven't found yet this kind of material.

I agree on the use of empathy scales such as the 60-item empathy quotient available on Cambridge website. I thought from what you described that you were also interested in moral judgement.
