The scientists must share their failures because reporting negative results means our colleagues will not waste their time and resources by repeating same mistakes. Although it is difficult to disclose that you have not found the better results because someone may interpret it as the failure.

In fact, negative results are also regarded as results. It is just how someone view it.
Agreed chalamala but researcher don't do such type of practice. May be they feel shame by mentioning their failure.
Well, you have raised a realistic question. According to my opinion failures are the key features to any success that is achieved with lot of struggle for overcoming the hurdles. Disclosure of errors related to logistics, funding, resources, team spirit, faulty processes, communication skills, completion beyond expected tenure, conflict of interest, non-credible and non-reliable data and such factors are eligible to be published even in journals like Journal of negative results. So failures need to be discussed in forums and disclosure of failures in research work must take place for betterment of science and society.

you are right ranjita. In my opinion, we are working only to publish research articles and research articles need comprehensive good and positive results. My suggestion is either research articles should consist of 1-2 pages of negative results or negative results should be published in good impact factor journals.
Thank you @ MU Munir. Negative results need to be published as it may provide an impetus to the entire researcher community to share their experiences further. Not many journals will encourage such articles but you have to enquire about it so that the right thing is highlighted in right domain in a right way. You need not worry about the impact factor but PMC or Medline indexing is a priority.
