If a no. of researchers, let's suppose 15-20, are contributing for a research paper then how we can say that which researcher's name should be first and which researcher's name should be at last. Although, 5-6 researchers contribute equally. so how will you place their name order in a research paper.

Hi, As far as I understood the question; I want to say that definitely the research is a team work and many of them contribute equally. But, the problem is that too many of researchers can not work together as all will not get the proper work or work appreciation. In case of team of about 10 to 15 it is fine . But, for 30 it is too difficult to have everyone's contribution in order.
Slit up the data and then can have proper contribution order preferences. may be....
I have seen many papers published in famous and valuable journals with good impact factors that have a lot of co-authors but it is difficult to understand for me that how they order their name on the research paper.
