Dear Sir/Mam,

Considering the scale, we measure the distance between the centre and the bright spot of the diffraction pattern. This should tally with the reciprocal of the d-spacing and the respective planes can be named in the SAED image.

The SAED pattern that I have acquired has spots at a larger distance which does not tally with the XRD data. For instance, the largest 1/d value is 8 nm but the distance of some specific points on the SAED pattern from the centre is 10 and 12 nm.

What does this signify? Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks and regards
