Do you have any information or materials about noise prediction models describing the noise level in areas close to intersections? Which factors are included in the model and what they meaning - for example:
- geometry (entry width, number of lanes, diameter of the roundabout center island, etc.),
- traffic intensity (volume), composition (percent of heavy trucks) and distribution (percent of left and right turns, straight on),
- traffic organization and management of traffic (signal control, circular movement, etc.),
- traffic conditions (level of service, delays, queues, volume to capacity ratio),
- distance from the intersection (from what point) to the measure point?
How do your national standards or guidelines relate to noise measurements or prediction in areas surrounding different types of intersections (also roundabouts)?
