RNA Extraction without alcohol (ethanol or isopropanol or phenol)?

May I know if there's any alternative to replace alcohol (ethanol and isopropanol wash) in RNA extraction from whole blood? Chaotropic salts such as GuSCN or GuHCL helps in the washing steps?
