I think there is no difference. Sigma and Life Technologies have the same product, only different prices!

How about The RNAlater recipe of Chen's (Ammonium Sulfate-EDTA etc.). There are other recipes, shch as "Lysis Buffer"( Use of "Lysis Buffer" in DNA isolation and its implication for museum collections. In: Occasional paper, Number 163. Museum of Texas Tech University.) and NAsafe (http://primerdigital.com/nasafe.html). Which one is the best for RNA conservation.
I use Promega kit to isolate RNA and results come interestingly.
