Hi all,

I'm performing chloroform DNA extraction from cyanobacteria. This worked well previously, but I think I may have overloaded my chloroform extraction this time because I got a milky white solution after adding ethanol and sodium acetate to precipitate the DNA. I'm guessing I have a lot of precipitated protein

Is there any way to save my (precious) samples at this point? Could the protein and DNA by re-dissolved with a second chloroform extraction or will the ethanol mess this up?
