I am working in satellite image processing and specially in multi-sensor date fusion. Before performing the fusion process i have to register LIDAR data with multi-spectral image which is my problem. I will be gratefull if you explain for me the steps to register Lidar with multi-spectral image and Iiask if you have some documents for the registration of multi-spectral image and Lidar data. it is possible to performe registration with envi.

In ENVI, you can use the tool:
Geometric Correction->Registration->Registration Image to Image
Here at NEON (http://www.neonscience.org/), we use this tool to register between airborne lidar and a AVIRIS-Next Gen hyperspectral imager. However we use the ENVI tool to create a camera model for the imager. We then use separate software to actually register the images.
