Please Suggest me whether it is compulsory to used centre point in Plackett burman design for screening Nutrients in Solid state fermentation for production of enzymes?
Can i used it without centre points or not?

Our Opinion on the query you addressed to us
Centre points represent mid values of lower and higher range of the concentrations/factors. For experimental design and the data analysis, it is necessary to include centre points. as it also helps to determine a wide range of the nutrients in various runs. If you are applying more than one centre points, it will necessitate to increase the runs accordingly. So, in our opinion, it is mandatory to include centre points for the validation of experiments.
