There are plenty of definitions on the web, but in a nutshell, its all about analyzing the data inductively and make inferences rather than just describing the responses. Its part and parcel of thematic analysis but takes it a step further in terms of inducing. Its a good technique when it comes to model or framework building etc.

I personally do not find anything particularly "reflexive" about the newly relabelled Reflexive Thematic Analysis. The main thing that Braun and Clarke have done is to exclude more quantitatively oriented version of thematic analysis that involved the counting of codes.
