I am doing a project - comaprison of ethnic minority and majority mental health in terms of their past experiences of racism, discrimination and bullying.
Im unsure what descriptives I need and don’t, what sort of statistical analysis ill be conducting. As well as if my project is a 2x3 or 2x4 repeated measures design, unsure?
Correlation analysis looks at associations between variables. In comparing two variables, a positive relationship results when higher values in the first variable coincide with higher values in the second variable. In addition, lower values in the first variable coincide with lower values in the second variable. Negative relationships result when higher values in the first variable coincide with lower values in the second variable as well as lower values in the first variable coincide with higher values in the second variable. The existence of an association between variables does not imply that one variable causes another; when building a predictive model, comparative statistics can help identify important variables to use.
