I use endnote software for document screening and document management.
Li, Cheng et al. “Meta-analysis of serum and/or plasma D-dimer in the diagnosis of periprosthetic joint infection.” Journal of orthopaedic surgery and research vol. 15,1 298. 6 Aug. 2020, doi:10.1186/s13018-020-01808-1
For somewhat of an overview, see this webpage comparing EndNote, Mendeley, and Zotero: https://subjectguides.library.american.edu/c.php?g=479020&p=3323781
Personally, I find it helpful for a reference manager to have a "picker" function (enabling you to klick a button in your browser to add a reference) and quick import via DOI.
