But actually I first thought the amount of H2 is decided independent of reaction. Um, I think, if there is 100ml batch reactor and 2g biomass and 40ml methanol, I just assume that the rest of volume, 60ml was filled with H2(30bar) So I try to get the amount with those operating conditions.

Is it right that 30bar H2 is injected or 1atm H2 to reach 30bar?
