Any recommendation from a scientific journal to submit a paper on operations research applying linear programming and vehicle routing (VRP) using the B&B algorithm?
I'm weary regarding journals that actively seek scientists. It must mean that they are not attractive, and in fact those journals that have sought me have been unattractive.
Those very good scientists I know would not take that opportunity, as they know those journals that have made the process of reviewing a pleasure. That's how it goes.
By the way, what would be the news value of the manuscript that we are discussing? In your description I do not see what the novelty is. Would you like to share what you will add to what we already know? New branching rules? Heuristics for producing primal feasible solutions?
Thanks Prof. Patriksson, You see so hard on Edson. He is looking for a journal to publish for a given reason. So I suggest he tries this journal from Malaysia
Yes, of course: I did a degree project on the application of operations research in a company, considering several of the restrictions recommended in the existing bibliography to determine optimal production quantities. Subsequently, I completed the vehicle routing with B&B in short periods of time due to the reduced number of nodes. Finally, I carried out an economic analysis. The contribution of my work is to show the tentative positive result in the application of operations research in micro and small companies at a detailed and deep level, focused on the operation of the company.
Thank you for your comment Prof. Michael Patriksson.
You can ask your thesis advisor about what journal they think would be best to submit your work. It is hard to suggest a journal for you without seeing the actual paper.
