I also can't access from my computer, but no problem from others. I have an old mac, I use firefox and/or chrome and both not working. My internet connection is otherwise absolutely fine. I think it depends on the computer somehow but don't know how to fix it (I hardly find anything about it on the internet too).
Recently Pubmed have added a recommendation of "new pubmed" to use. may be you have clicked on it. it doesn't work and then, you can't use pubmed. you have two approach. First, you can use another web browser (like firefox, opera, ...) that you haven't used it to browse pubmed before. the second way is deleting all of browsed data and history, then you can use pubmed again, but be aware of clicking on the "new pubmed" again!
I don't think it has anything to do with the DNS as least for me. It's related to the proxy. I had same issue and tried Proxy Master and used a different server and it worked perfectly fine.
The site has been insanely buggy for me. If I search in the "old" site, it brings me to the new site design. Once I'm there and reading an article, I can't save it to collections or favorites. When I'm able to read an article on the old site and click "Similar articles in PubMed," it sends me to the new site and spits back a 500 (server error).
Tried the DNS trick with no luck. I need to be logged into NCBI to save articles to my collections, so unable to force it to use the old site by clearing data/cookies. Have emailed the support desk but not getting my hopes up. Anyone else have this issue?
Pubmed does not work in any Android device in my house (my wife's and mine). It does not work through WIFI or 4G but in Windows computers ir works. Also, he app Pubmed on Tap does not work either. Changed DNS and to iPv4 and nothing happened. Any hint of why is this happening? Help will be much appreciated, this issue is very annoying.
I also have the same problem the last three weeks. And tried everything already. Only Pubmed is the problem. The site opens, but its not properly displayed and you can not use any search function. I can not explain it.
