I am using beans and potato tubers to rear Lygus rugulipennis but the numbers are not high enough for the experiments, other hosts plants known include cotton, alfalfa and even weeds. Can somebody share with me the best way of getting their numbers up using a host plant or artificial diet?. Anybody who knows a suitable pheromone-attractant for it or any insecticides known to work best against it please share with me.
