What are the REAL-WORLD multi-objective optimization problems for CONTINUOUS domain, except multi-objective welded beam, spring, disc brake and pressure vessel design problems?
My specialty is structural integrity, especially fatigue strength, fracture mechanics, fractography, stress corrosion cracking and X-ray & neutron diffraction. I can not understand your question. What are you want to know?
I don't know if I understood your question correctly but there are of course infinitely many applications for MO-optimization. If you are especially looking for continuous problems you might be interested in control technology and optimum parameter setting.
If you are interested in structural optimization, as your examples suggest, you might want to look into optimization with respect to stiffness and/or thermal objectives. I did some work on this topic during my studies.
Makoto Hayashi in the literature there are several MOPs such as, ZDT and DTLZ families. However, my question is about real-world MOPs and I have mentioned some of the structural engineering design MOPs, as examples. Some of these problem, include discrete and integer variables. However, my question is about MOPs with continuous variables only, in any field not necessary structural engineering.
Felix Schleifer Thank you for your reply. My question is about real-world MOPs with continuous variables only, in any field not necessary structural engineering.
