Because of tumor cell heterogeneity with in a tumor it very difficult to detect cancer cell.Concept of cancer stem cell added another dilemma in cancer biology,but as a natural rule of the cell most of fuctions are govern by change in gene expression and mutation .Overall it now requires Next -Generation Technology,which have immense capacity to sequence genome in less time and cost effective manner .

But again comes the question of accuracy and data analysis to translate this info for the patients.
